Comedians are entertainers who give laughter and joy to the viewers, but not all the jokes are acceptable for other people.
Vice Ganda, a well-known comedian, and host is one of those few who always receives criticism on how he delivers his jokes.
Recently, Vice Ganda once again received a negative reaction from another comedian Arnel Ignacio on Vice’s recent episode of Gandang Gabi Vice.
Every late Sunday night, Vice would feature various celebrities and ordinary people with extraordinary talents or achievements on his talk show. Through this, he provides laughter and entertainment to his viewers.
However, the said recent episode did not sit well with Arnell. He expressed his dismay to what he has seen. On September 22, Vice featured two young gays on his late-night talk show. They were wearing the Boy Scout uniform and the video uploaded on YouTube has this title: “Viral dancing boy scouts na sina Dave and Renz, nagpakitang gilas sa GGV!”
The young boys showcased their talent in ballroom dancing. As Vice Ganda was watching them, it can be seen on his face that he was delighted to see the dancing Boy Scouts owning the GGV stage.
On the other hand, based on the article published on the site of Abante, Arnell Ignacio despised what he saw. “Lintek naman. Ako bakla na ha pero dapat naman alamin naman natin na HINDI lahat ng nakakaaliw ay tamang bigyan ng ganyang atensyon!” he said.
Apparently, he is not the only “gay” person in the industry who has the same reaction. Designer Armando Favia also reacted to this. “Isn’t this a disrespect of the Boy Scout’s uniform? And Creed of Honor?” he stated.
