Its Showtime host and actress Anne Curtis is one of the most popular and most followed celebrities in the country. Her style, fashion and inspiring thoughts are the things her followers love about her.
The 34-year-old actress, although still looks ‘dalaga’, is already married to her long-time boyfriend vlogger/chef Erwann Heussaf in November 2017.
Almost two years of being husband and wife, the couple still living their married life as honeymooners.
Anne is obviously busy with her work so as her husband Erwan. She has an everyday noontime show and the upcoming movie with her co-host and close friend Vice Ganda. An official entry to Metro Manila Film Festival 2019 titled “The Mall, The Merrier”.
Meanwhile, their noontime shows Its Showtime is currently celebrating its 10th year anniversary.
During the show’s presscon last Monday, September 30, Anne was asked by one reporter about her plans to have a child with husband Erwan Heussaff.
“I think I should take this opportunity that the press should stop asking that to any woman because you don’t know what they’re going through,” Anne said.
“For me, it will happen in God’s time, and I think at any time I’m ready for it. But I’m speaking for every woman. You don’t know what they’re going through,” she added.
Anne stressed that it’s better to respect someone’s privacy regarding the matter.
She also shared that many of her friends are struggling to conceive – making the question both inappropriate and hurtful. “Medyo nakakasakit when people keep asking them, ‘When are you going to have a baby?’ Maybe they just don’t want to have a baby,” Anne said.
“I hope you guys don’t take this the wrong way, but I think in respect to every woman, you should stop asking when they’re going to get married, why don’t they have a baby, or when they are going to have a baby,” Anne urged.
Her co-host and long-time friend Vice Ganda, who was seated beside her, then surmised that local showbiz may have normalized talking about the topic so candidly.
“Iyon ang isa sa nakasanayan na we should put a stop [to],” he said.
Although Anne had been very open about aspects of her personal life through her widely followed social media channels. Seen daily on “It’s Showtime,” she has also spoken about pregnancy numerous times on the noontime program.
Notably, in November 2018, Curtis and Vice Ganda shared an emotional moment when the comedian, in an unexpected message, said he was looking forward to seeing his real-life “sisterette” as a parent.
Every woman is different, we don’t know what they’re going through. Let’s just pray the best for our idols.
