Kim Chiu clarified that her viral video dancing to the tune of “Bawal Lumabas” is not taken in EDSA

Kim Chiu once again caught the attention of many people on social media because of her newly-uploaded video.

Last month, Kim Chiu has been one of the most controversial personalities online because of the viral “Bawal Lumabas” statement. The actress received a massive amount of criticisms from the online community.

The social media users made memes and put groovy music incorporating with the statement of the Kapamilya star. Eventually, a music arranger named DJ Squammy collaborated with Kim for the full track.

The song was based on Kim’s much-criticized statement during the #LabanKapamilya live streaming. Instead of feeling bitter about the criticisms, Kim decided to turn the experience into a positive one by making a full song about it.

Kim take advantage of her being viral and released “Bawal Lumabas” merchandise amid the controversy. She takes the things positively after receiving negative reactions from her bashers.

Its debut on the local chart traces, apparently, from its high number of streams online — it garnered more than 10 million views across Facebook and YouTube within a day of its release.

And just recently, Kim went viral again, as her video dancing in the middle of traffic in EDSA circulated on different social media platforms.

It appeared that the celebrity was just shrugging off the heavy traffic by grooving to the beat of her much-criticized song.

In the video, it showed Chiu dancing her viral hit with her friend, then the next clip showed the actress went outside her car to groove to the beat of her song.

However, Kim cleared the allegations.

She then stated that she’s not in EDSA while dancing on the viral video.

“Please stop spreading FAKE NEWS. Please lang.”

Kim then stated that the video happens in a restaurant’s parking lot.
