A2Z, the newly rebranded Channel 11 of Zoe, will be the new home of some Kapamilya programs.
Among those who followed the return of ABS-CBN shows to free television on Saturday was Evangelist Bro. Eddie Villanueva, founder of the network that gave them a second home.
In a video clip posted by his daughter Jovi Villanueva-Binalla taken by Heidy Landrito, Bro. Eddie, as he is known, is seen at home watching the live first telecast of noontime show “It’s Showtime!” on A2Z Channel 11.
The portion of the show saw host Vice Ganda thanking ABS-CBN executives for their return to free TV.
Elsewhere in the program, the hosts also expressed gratitude to Villanueva, who leads the Jesus Is Lord Church, owner of the Zoe Broadcasting Network which officially launched A2Z with the “It’s Showtime!” premiere.
They also greeted him for his birthday earlier this week.
Upon the opening of It’s Showtime Vice quipped, “Thank God it’s Zaturday. Thank God it’s Zuper amazing. Thank God it’s Zoe.”
Amid this, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy seems like took a swipe again against Vice Ganda.
In his show Give Us This Day on SMNI News Channel he answers some questions from his viewers.
The question is pertaining to Vice Ganda.
“Okey lang po ba na ipalabas sa TV o i-tolerate ang h0m0s3xu’al activity ni Vice Ganda sa isang religious TV Channel?” a viewer asked.
“Tanungin natin si Bro. Eddie Villanueva kung ano ang masasabi niya rito,” Quiboloy answered.
“Ako, alam n’yo na ang sagot ko,” he added.
To recall, Quiboloy had an issue with Vice Ganda (November 2019) because of It’s Showtime host‘s challenge for the religious leader to stop traffic at EDSA, as well as Coco Martin’s primetime action-drama series Ang Probinsyano.
